With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bill Stordahl founded Stordahl Capital Management to provide comprehensive wealth management strategies to affluent individuals, high-net-worth families, foundations, and nonprofits. Prior to forming Stordahl Capital Management, Bill had been a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network and its predecessors since 1992.
Fascinated by the markets since middle school, and trained in statistics and data analysis in college, his real passion has always been to connect with people and help them make their lives better, rather than trying to sell them financial products. He is grateful for the relationships he has with clients and pursues the same concern and compassion for them as he does for his own family.
Bill holds a BA in economics from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and completed the extensive requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERä professional through the College for Financial Planning in Washington, D.C. He is also approved by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to teach continuing professional education (CPE) programs for Certified Public Accountants and has served as an instructor at CEP4U in Denver, CO. Bill has been quoted in the media for his work on local and national economic impact studies and on a study he conducted on economic incentives in the workplace.
Bill and Julie Stordahl have two wonderful kids, Olivia and Jake. Olivia spends as much time as possible riding and showing her horse. Jake loves all things sports, but especially hockey. So when not working, Bill can usually be found with Jake at the rink or with Olivia at the barn. The family loves to travel together, the more unusual the better. Bill also enjoys skiing, scuba-diving, golf, and taking long walks with Julie.
